A 40-year-old Malaysian man suffered injuries after the BMW that he drove fell off the 2nd floor of a building in Setia Alam, Shah Alam.
The incident took place around 11:30 pm last night (January 13). The driver suffered minor injuries and was immediately sent to the nearest hospital for further treatment. According to the Assistant Director of Selangor Fire Operations, Ahmad Mukhlis Mokhtar rushed to the scene after receiving an emergency call from the building management.
A team of 4 members, including officers and a machine from the Kapar Fire and Rescue Station (BBP), was deployed in the operation, reported Utusan and Sin Chew Daily.
The victim is believed to have hit the glass wall in the parking lot before falling out of the building, causing the car to overturn in a nearby grassy area.
“On arrival at the location, the car was found in the grassy area after falling from the 2nd floor of the parking lot. The inspection found that the victim had been removed from his car before the arrival of the fire brigade.”
We’re glad that the driver did not suffer major injuries.
