The 19-year-old Black Lives Matter protestor, Oluwatoyin Salau, is found dead after missing for several days.
On 7 June 2020, Oluwatoyin Salau posted a series of tweets on Twitter on her being molested. On the same day the tweets were posted, Oluwatoyin Salau went missing. Her body was found on 16 June.
Before her death, people were still tweeting and posting around social media to help spread awareness of her absence and tried to locate her. After knowing about her death, netizens trends #JusticeForToyin on Twitter.
She was an activist who fought for black lives. May she rest in peace.
