Bersih. A rally started in 2007 as a campaign for electoral reform. Participants gather at at four locations: Sogo department store, Masjid India, Masjid Negara and Pasar Seni. The last rally, Bersih 3.0 was the largest democratic protest in Malaysia organised by the Coalition for Clean and Fair Elections.
It is pretty overwhelming to see all races come as one: Malaysians. The colour of our skin does not change the hopes we have for our nation’s future.
This year is the 4th rally, and there are many who whipped out their mobile phones to capture amazing and/or amusing moments. Here are some of the best ones:
Najib is worse than an old flame
The emergence of hidden past: Altantuya
A really cool number plate
I wonder how much it’ll fetch…
Malaysian bersih humour at its best
Mom?

Look I’m famouzzzz…
A wild Pikachu appears!
It’s super effective!
Yellow Spiderman is here to save the day! (He must be sweating his b*** off!)
Inside joke for RM1 chicken?
Cleaning in progress
The janitor was probably fired for losing this.
Is that Najib in a cell?
Home-made Najib in a home-made prison cell? Now isn’t that creative…and exceptionally cute too!
More spare change please?
The 34 hour rally got dedicated Malaysians sleeping on the streets
and for the next few nights, ‘homeless people’ will be on the rise…
Not forgetting one of our favourite:
Malays having their Zohor prayers on the streets at Menara Maybank. The amount of dedication shown is overwhelming. #salute
Guess what? Even this guy was here. LOL!
Yes! This was the guy who did the review on the ‘Nenen’ vape flavour.
