Previously, we shared how a Perodua Axia driver in Setiu, Terengganu casually drove with a fuel nozzle stuck in its fuel cap after not realising they had driven off from a gas station with it still attached.
Now, another incident involving a vehicle and a fuel station has gone viral in our country, this time involving Axia’s bigger brother, the Perodua Myvi.
A MyVi knocked over a fuel pump kiosk at a gas station
Circulating on social media, photos of a yellow Perodua MyVi next to a knocked-over fuel pump kiosk at a gas station, have caught the attention of Malaysians.
The photos depict the aftermath of the incident, with the fuel pump kiosk lying on the ground, while the MyVi was stuck at the elevated platform where the kiosk was located.
Furthermore, what is believed to be petroleum can be seen spilling out on the ground as a result of the kiosk being knocked over.
In an X (formerly Twitter) post by @anthraxxx781, 1 photo of the incident was shared, though not much information was provided.
The incident took place in Batu Caves and the gas station had to close temporarily
Thankfully, the same incident was also shared by @update11111 on the platform, showing 2 photos from different angles and more importantly, context about the incident.
According to the X user, the incident took place at 12.20pm yesterday (8 August) in Batu Caves, Selangor.
Moreover, the MyVi driver had allegedly stepped on the accelerator a little too much while reversing, causing it to hit the kiosk and knock it over.
