Earlier in June, a video showing two men engaging in same-sex relations began going viral on social media after it was speculated that Economic Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Azmin Ali was one of the men in the footage.
The Minister has since put out a statement categorically denying claims that he was involved in the video, saying that it was an attempt at character assassination to sabotage his political career.

Ongoing investigations looked into the authenticity of the video and saw six individuals arrested in connection with the case — one of the individuals being Haziq Aziz, who reportedly confessed to being the other man participating in the video.
Now, according to The Star, it has been revealed that Perak PKR leader Farhash Wafa Salvador Rizal Mubarak, PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s political secretary, was also recently arrested in connection to this case.
Farhash was reportedly arrested on Tuesday (16th July) along with two other suspects. Anwar’s aide reportedly asked Azmin Ali to quit if evidence regarding the sex video was overwhelmingly against him.
