The UMNO Info Chief by the name of Shahril Hamdan took to Twitter to tell everyone of his Covid-19 results.

In the tweet he says,

“Covid +. I have no obvious symptoms other than a little fatigue. I have decided to do the Covid test on 22 September after cases spiked in Sabah where I had been campaigning. I just received the call and I will be admitted today.”

He then apologised,

“I’m sorry for the inconvenience that this will cause to the people who were in contact with me.”

According to Shahril Hamdan’s tweets, it is understood that he was campaigning in Sipitang, alongside Sani Miasin, who was in contact with UMNO Supreme Council Member who tested positive for Covid-19.

We hope that everyone who is involved or had come into contact with him adhered to the SOPs. However, just to be safe, they should get tested.
