With that said, Sarawak has now announced that they have 3 cases of patients with Covid-19 and two of them attended the Sri Petaling Mosque event. The other case is a family member of one of the attendees.

In an attempt to stop Covid-19, the Sarawakian State Disaster Management Committee has identified about 236 attendees from Sarawak and is now continuing to track the rest of the participants. They have also asked for all participants of the religious event to please contact the nearest hospital for Covid-19 investigation.

At the end of the statement, they said that they wanted to assure the public that Sarawak Health Department is well-equipped and is ready to face a Covid-19 outbreak there if it happens. They have also stated that quarantine centres have been set up in Kuching, Sibu, Bintulu and Miri and are ready for operations.

In light of this, we hope that everyone out there is keeping clean and taking the necessary precautionary step!
