Recently, the owner of a Penang-registered luxury MPV was condemned for illegally parking by the roadside in Hatyai, Thailand, causing major inconveniences for other road users.

With that being said, why are we bringing along our horrible parking habits to other countries?

Recently, Thai netizen, รอฟีอ๊ะ หมัดโส๊ะ, took to her Facebook page to showcase yet another Malaysian-registered vehicle parking in an irresponsible manner in Thepha, Thailand.

In a seemingly sarcastic tone, she wrote, “This is another case. Thai people are all welcome to the Malaysian parking lot in Thailand. To our neighbours, please respect and uphold the rules and regulations of our country.”

In the image shared, the Kuala Lumpur-registered vehicle could be seen taking up at least 3 perpendicular parking spaces by parking at an angle.

Many Malaysians have since taken to the post to condemn and apologise, out of embarrassment, on behalf of our fellow countryman.

“Forgive them, they left their brain at the border.”

“Bringing shame to Malaysians.”

What do you think of our fellow Malaysian’s style of parking while in Thailand? Do feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section.
