What some people may not know about Adibah Noor is that she was a huge fan of cats during her lifetime.

She loved cats so much that she had more than 40 pet cats in her house, including the stray cats which she decided to take care of. Now that she has departed, some people have wondered about the fate of her furry friends at home. Not long after the news of her demise, an animal shelter in Hulu Langat, Selangor has made a heartwarming announcement.

Taking to its Facebook page, Anugerah Mahligai Arah Nasib Abadi Haiwan (AMANAH) revealed that they’re more than happy to be the next caretaker of late Adibah’s pet cats.

“The cats can seek shelter at AMANAH for free. No problem at all.”

AMANAH also said that no payments are necessary and the next of kin do not have to provide cat food every month. In fact, the shelter is open for the public to visit every Sunday from 2:30 pm to 6:30pm.

They have offered Adibah’s next of kin to contact them if they are interested in letting the shelter take care of the pet cats.

Going through the comment sections, AMANAH revealed that a number of people have actually reached out to them via direct message and asked for their banking details for donation purposes.

“At least wait until the cats are here with me first. Throughout my 3 years of running the shelter, we’ve never publicly asked for funds.”

The cats must be missing their mommy

In the meantime, fellow Malaysians have also expressed their sadness in the comment sections and they could only imagine how much the cats may be missing their late owner.

Not only that, but some users have also commented and praised the generous action of the animal shelter for volunteering to take care of the cats who are in need of a shelter.

“Thank God. May Allah bless you!”

“It’s sad to even imagine how the cats are waiting for the return of their late owner.”

“May God ease everything for you, sir. Thank you.”

“The furry friends are praying for her in the afterlife.”

“May God repay you for your generosity.”

It is certainly heartening to see that people are coming out to help the late Adibah Noor despite having no connection with her during her lifetime. Our condolences and prayers go to the family of the late Adibah and she will always be remembered!
