Police revealed that the suspect was angry after being ignored by the gold store staff

The Shah Alam District Police has since released a statement on the incident, revealing that it took place on 17 October and that three separate police reports were made by the suspect and witnesses at the location.

Investigations found that the man had tied his dog outside of the mall before visiting a gold store there to purchase 1kg of gold.

However, the suspect then became angry after being ignored by the staff at the gold store and reacted by hurling insults and obscenities at the worker.

A heated argument then broke out, forcing the mall’s security personnel to be peacemakers. The suspect was then escorted out of the mall.

However, the suspect then tried to make a scene by bringing his dog inside the mall, but the attempt was unsuccessful as the security personnel managed to stop him from doing so.

Accordingly, the Shah Alam District Police has opened two investigation papers on the incident under Sections 323 and 290 of the Penal Code, Section 14 of the Minor Offences Act 1955, as well as Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998.
