A heartwarming moment highlighting the resilience of Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) Traffic Officers has recently come to light, with officers seen going above and beyond while carrying out their duties.
In a Facebook post, the North Klang Traffic Division shared how three of its officers took the initiative to clear a clogged drain that had overflowed following heavy rain.

PDRM traffic officers go above and beyond by helping clear a blocked drain in Klang that had overflowed
According to the post, Point Duty officers Corporal Mohamad Nasaludin Abdul Manan, Lance Corporal Muhammad Hariz Micheal, and Lance Corporal Hairul Hakimi Muhammad took the initiative to clear the clogged drain, helping to speed up the flow of water into the nearby drainage system.
“This is an example that should be followed not only by officers on duty but also by other road users. The North Klang Traffic Division reminds motorists to stay alert to traffic updates, especially during the recent flash flood season,” the post read.

The officers’ good deed did not go unnoticed, as PDRM’s official Facebook page also took the opportunity to thank them for their dedication and service.
“A big thank you to the officers from the Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Division, North Klang District Police Headquarters, for taking the initiative to clear a clogged drain caused by heavy rain.”

PDRM added that the officers were on duty at the time for Op Selamat 25 at Kilometre 16.9 of the New North Klang Straits Bypass Highway, Selangor.
“Their dedicated actions show that service and responsibility are always top priorities for the Royal Malaysia Police in keeping the public safe and well.”
Kudos to our unsung heroes for going the extra mile to keep Malaysia’s roads safe for everyone!
