Malaysia is truly a beautiful country full of views and wonders.
But one view that most people hardly see is how the iconic Petronas Twin Towers look like from above in an aerial view. Well, thanks to Polish photographer, Tomasz Kowalski, now we can.
Tomasz won the 2020 Drone Photo Awards best photo in the Urban category for his drone image of the towers from above them.
Titled, ‘Alien Structure on Earth’, the picture shows us a different and new perspective of the towers that we’ve known and loved for so long.
The other categories include Wildlife, Sport, People, Nature, Abstract, Life Under Covid-19, Wedding and Series, with Photo of the Year going to Jim Picot for his piece, ‘Love Heart of Nature’.
The Drone Awards is a worldwide competition for aerial photography and videos, under the Siena Awards. It is dedicated to a different photography genre deliberately separated from being compared to traditional photography.
The competition is opened to photographers and videographers whose platforms also include fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters, unmanned aerial vehicles, balloons, blimps, dirigibles, rockets, kites and parachutes.
