For those of you who may not know, Norwegian DJ Alan Walker will be performing in various countries in Asia throughout June.
Kicking off his Walker World Asia Tour Part 1 in Jakarta on June 8, he decided to make a special, early visit to Indonesia to meet with a music teacher and his class!
The music teacher, Tri Adinata (Sir Nata), took to his Instagram page to showcase Alan Walker’s visit, and to share how he and his student will be collaborating with the DJ during his upcoming concert next month.
He wrote, “Thanks, Alan Walker, we love you. A world-class musician who is very humble about his extraordinary works of art. While editing this video, accept my apologies as I couldn’t hold back my tears. Whatever I have done all this time has been for my students. I try to do whatever is best for them. I want to see Indonesian children happily going to school.”
“It felt like a dream for Alan Walker to come to our school after a 28-hour flight from America, to come to Medan and immediately sing together in our music class. I was so touched. Don’t forget to come on June 8 (Saturday), my students and I will be collaborating with Alan during his concert!”
In Sir Nata’s videos, Alan Walker could be seen arriving at the school in Medan, Indonesia, before walking into the music class where Sir Nata and his student performed for the DJ while he enjoyed himself.
While, in another video, Sir Nata and Alan Walker shared their appreciations for the opportunity to meet up and collaborate. Sir Nata even cried and Alan Walker gave him a hug! Aww, so sweet!
