OMG, this is seriously heartbreaking! If you have ever thought of abandoning your pet even for a second, then you should read this. Not rehoming, but abandoning! If you still feel like dumping your pet after reading this then well, it’s your choice but why would you even want to do that?! 🙁

According to Mirror, a poor little dog who was abandoned at an airport has allegedly died of a “broken heart”. The loyal dog was found at a terminal at Palonegro airport near Bucaramanga, Colombia and had apparently spent about a month wandering the airport before being rescued by an animal shelter.
The heartbroken pooch, who was named “Nube Viajera” or Wandering Cloud by the vets who treated her, had been seen roaming around the airport and sniffing people. She looked like she was searching for someone and one of the vets said, “It is presumed that she had an owner and a home and that they abandoned her because the dog never left the airport.” Waiting patiently for owners that would never come!

However, the initially healthy dog soon gave up on life and was too depressed to eat anything even though passengers and workers offered the two-year-old pooch food and water. She was seen lying listlessly at a corner of the terminal and her condition deteriorated rapidly. So sad! 🙁
Finally, someone called a nearby animal rescue group, who took her back to the shelter for treatment but by then, she was too weak to stand. Dr Alejandro Sotomonte, one of the vets said, “The dog’s health deteriorated in a matter of 48 hours, even though we gave her food and medicine via intravenous injection. She fell into sadness and depression and did not survive.”

The vets who treated her labelled the cause of her death as depression and said that before her death, she had a normal weight and showed no signs of any serious illness.
RIP, poor little Wandering Cloud! Please think twice about abandoning your innocent pets, people! :'(
