Time to save up money for an epic trip!
On 12th June, the owner of a famous 22-hectare Japanese theme park has announced that they will be closing down at the end of this August and taking over a portion of the enormous land will be a Harry Potter theme park! The remaining space will be converted by the Japanese government to a park/ emergency disaster shelter.
It is said that if everything goes smoothly, construction of the Harry Potter theme park will be done by the first half of 2023!
According to Time Out, this attraction will resemble the Warner Bros. Studio Tour in London. It is where Potterheads can go to check out a life-sized Diagon Alley and to look at the production sets along with the props such as the intricate wands.
This new park will not have any rides but dedicated Potterheads can go to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ at Universal Studios Osaka for an all-around complete trip.
For that, we need to save up and look forward to 2023 as 2020 is pretty much cancelled.
