In a viral message made on social media late yesterday evening, Say Cheese Cafe Bukit Jalil shared an image of two receipts whereby a customer paid more than what they’re supposed to on their bill.

In their social media post which writes, “We’re looking for this customer, please!”, they shared two receipts, one which the total wrote RM78.40, and another, which probably belonged to the customer having printed a grand total of RM784.04.

Realising this mistake, here is what the café owners wrote.

“Just now during closing, after settling our credit card settlement process, our colleague realised that there is a big ‘overpaid’ amount by a customer this afternoon.”

Amassing for more than RM700, they genuinely mentioned that they are on the lookout for the customer.

“We will definitely make a refund, but we do not know who the customer is.”

“Thank you very much for assisting us. We will also gift this customer 1 x whole burnt cheesecake as a token of apology for the inconvenience caused.”

Garnering more that 535 likes and 835 shares, one staff member commented that they are trying to resolve the issue with the bank to help void the bill.
