There’s a saying, fight fire with fire which means to use the weapons or tactics of one’s enemy or opponent, even if one finds them distasteful.

Well, North Korea has decided to fight leaflets with poop.

The DD Geopolitics Twitter page recently shared how North Korea had sent hundreds of balloons carrying plastic bags of trash and poop across to South Korea as a retaliation for South Korean activists sending 20 balloons carrying pro-democracy leaflets condemning Kim Jong Un to North Korea.

They wrote, “North Korea has launched hundreds of balloons filled with trash and waste across the border, Seoul’s military reported on Wednesday. This action follows a warning from the North of retaliatory measures in response to anti-Pyongyang leaflets sent by South Korean activists.”

They also showcased images of the balloons sent by North Korea after the balloons landed in various locations around South Korea.

Some of the balloons had even popped, causing the plastic bags of trash and poop to scatter on the ground in South Korea.

According to a post by Global Press’s Twitter page, South Korean defense analysts have since warned their people to stay away from the balloons containing the trash and feces as they may also contain dangerous biological pathogens.
