Australia has become quite the hotspot for Malaysian travellers lately. But it seems like some Malaysians tend to extend their stay beyond what their tourist visas allow.

According to @NewsBFM, reports suggest that Australia is reviewing the visa application process for Malaysians entering the country in response to the issue of overstays.

According to the post, Malaysia has consistently held the highest number of overstayers arriving on tourist visas, as stated by its High Commissioner, Danielle Heinecke, in an interview with BFM.

It’s been reported that Malaysians now need to provide additional documentation when applying for visas in order to enter Australia.
