The Happy Meal at McDonald’s has always been a firm favourite of kids and even adults around the world, largely due to the awesome toys that are included in the box. This iconic set has been around for 40 years and this 28th November, Malaysians can get their hands on some of the most popular Happy Meal toys from the last four decades!

In a release from McDonald’s, they told WORLD OF BUZZ that they will be launching the limited edition Surprise Happy Meal in conjunction with their Happy Meal 40th Anniversary Celebration. The Happy Meal was first introduced as a Circus Wagon Happy Meal in June 1979 in the U.S. and is now available in more than 38,000 restaurants in over 100 countries around the globe.

Now, McDonald’s Malaysia is bringing back those good ol’ toys from your childhood and we can’t wait to get them. These toys are truly a blast from the past, as they are firm favourites from the 1980s and 1990s such as the Hamburglar, Tamagotchi and Hot Wheels.

There will be 14 limited edition toys up for grabs and these are listed as below:

  • Cowboy McNugget (McDonald’s): 1988
  • Fireman McNugget (McDonald’s): 1988
  • Mail Carrier McNugget (McDonald’s): 1988
  • Hamburger Changeable (McDonald’s): 1989
  • Grimace (McDonald’s): 1990
  • Dino Happy Meal Box Changeable (McDonald’s): 1991
  • McDonald’s Hot Wheels Thunderbird (Mattel): 1993
  • Hamburglar (McDonald’s): 1995
  • Space Jam Bugs Bunny (Warner Brothers): 1996
  • Patti the Platypus (Ty Beanie Baby): 1997
  • Tamagotchi (Bandai): 1998
  • My Little Pony (Hasbro): 1998
  • Furby (Hasbro): 1999
  • Hello Kitty (Sanrio): 2013

Do note that these toys are available only while stocks last so do get them while you can when they launch on November 28th. PS: If you’re a scalper please stay at home and let the decent human beings get a taste of their childhood.

I don’t know about you but I am feeling nostalgic already! Time to grab some of those iconic toys!
