An 8-year-old student ended up with a skull fracture and other injuries after getting hit by a car in front of a school in Putrajaya on February 20.
According to Harian Metro, bystanders at the scene had to flip the car over to get the boy out from underneath before the fire department arrived.

He was crossing in front of the school
Putrajaya District Police Chief, Aidi Sham Mohamed, said the accident happened around 4:45 PM when the boy was walking from a pedestrian path near Block C, Apartment Zone 6B, and crossing Jalan P11J/1 in front of the school.
“He was hit by a car driven by a woman on the main road and was taken to Putrajaya Hospital. The case is being investigated under Section 43(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987,” he said.
Meanwhile, Presint 7 Fire and Rescue commander Ismail Mustafa said a team of nine firefighters rushed to the scene after getting a distress call at 4:55 PM.

The boy suffered a skull fracture, multiple body injuries, and other wounds that are still being assessed.
Meanwhile, Putrajaya MP Datuk Dr. Radzi Jidin shared on Facebook that he immediately went to Putrajaya Hospital upon receiving news of the accident.
He stated that the boy’s parents, representatives from the Putrajaya State Education Department (JPN), teachers, and members of the school’s PTA were also present at the hospital.
“The doctors have provided me with further details on Hanafi’s injuries, and I kindly ask everyone to pray for his recovery,” he wrote.
