Driving may seem like an easy task but as you age, your senses may not be as heightened, and accidents may happen. That being said, it’s always best to check in with yourself and make sure that you’re in good condition before hitting the wheels.

Just several days ago, a 73-year-old lady from Sydney has accidentally caused an accident at a parking lot. According to 7News, the accident happened because the lady has mistaken the gas pedal as the brake pedal.

The accident was first documented on TikTok where multiple users shared a video of a car that is ‘chilling’ on top of a white Mercedes-Benz. According to one of the video uploaders, she was just about to exit the parking lot when the incident happened.

“I was on my way out of the parking lot when I saw the sedan driving into the parking lot. She just drove past the boom gate and crashed right on top of the car”, she said.

As of now, there hasn’t been any video of how the accident happened and due to the crash, a 50-year-old man has sustained some light injuries. Fortunately, it is reported that he managed to exit the car safely.

Many netizens were shocked to see what happened and most of them are curious as to how the sedan managed to ramp up onto the Mercedes-Benz. Thankfully the 73-year-old lady wasn’t hurt from the crash but unfortunately, she may be subjected to a hefty fine and compensation for the damages she caused.
