72-year-old former IGP Tan Sri Musa Hassan had gotten married at a hotel located in Shah Alam last night (23 September).
According to ASTRO AWANI, a Facebook user named Mohammad Izzat Hassan had posted pictures of the wedding, the family and the guests who attended the event.
The caption reads:
“Syukur Alhamdulillah and congratulations, Tan Sri Musa Hassan and Puan Sri Qistina Lim, you (Musa) will always be my idol, advisor, leader and brother to me.”
He continued by welcoming the former IGP’s new wife to the family: “Welcome big sister Qistina into our family. I hope that you guys will get mawaddah, rahmah and remain till jannah.”
Many prominent guests were also in attendance such as Tengku Sulaiman Shah, the brother of the current Selangor Sultan, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah and celebrity preacher Tuan Asmawi Tuan Umar who shared a Facebook live session of the wedding.
Earlier this year, Musa Hassan’s second wife, Elly Afizahwati Abdul Jalil, 42, had filed for a divorce at the lower Shariah court citing shiqaq or discord. Their marriage lasted 10 years and they are parents to an 8-year-old child.
Musa Hassan’s first marriage ended when his first wife, Juriah Ahmad, passed away in May 2019.
