It’s officially the last day of 2018, guys! Is it just us or has a lot happened this past year? Phew!

Well, regardless of how good 2018 was to you, the world is bidding farewell to this year as we usher in 2019 in less than 24 hours. Like any new year, we definitely want to ring it in with a bang. While it’s almost a guarantee you’ll have fun as long as you’re with your loved ones, picking the right spot to celebrate is an essential part of the night, too!

So, here are just some parties and events happening all over KL and the Klang Valley tonight if you’re still deciding where to welcome the new year;

 

1. New Year’s Eve at The Iron Fairies KL

Havana is definitely the place to be this New Year’s if you’re looking for a good night filled with dancing ’till the clock strikes 12. Featuring Castro Brothers upstairs and DJ Patrick downstairs in charge of the tunes throughout the night, it’s sure to be a great party to ring in the new year.

Featuring dazzling fireworks, spectacular live performances from some of Malaysia’s favourite local artists, great food, and the largest glow in the dark festival, Glowtopia, there’s definitely something for everyone at this event!

4. Marini’s on 57 New Year’s Eve Countdown 

If you want to spend the New Year up in the Petronas Twin Towers, Marini’s on 57 is the place to be.

With this year’s theme being Pop, Fizz & Clink, party-goers are encouraged to dress up in their classiest 1920’s-inspired outfits to jazz up the festivities. So, interested in partying Gatsby-style? Be sure to make a reservation before you head over there!

5. Light Up The Sky! at Helipad KL

Helipad KL is the best place to get a great 360-degree view of the city, and we’re sure the view is even more amazing during New Year’s when all the fireworks go off around KL!

So, if you’re interested in partying with a spectacular view this New Year’s then Helipad KL’s New Year’s countdown party is one you should definitely check out. Featuring DJ Niza Minx and DJ Discfunktion, you can rest assured that you’ll be going into 2019 with some great music to boot.

7. NYE Lepak Party at Merdekarya

If you’re looking for a more chill atmosphere this New Year, Merdekarya’s NYE Lepak Party is the perfect place for you. While Merdekarya is known for their live music, this new year’s party will feature a great tracklist paying homage to the 80s instead.

Located in Petaling Jaya, this bar is a great spot to hit up if you’re not too into driving all the way to the city this New Year’s Eve. Plus, there’s no cover charge for this event! Nice!
