The MPV swerved to avoid an SUV

At the time of the incident, a 40-year-old local driver of an MPV, heading from Prisma Road towards Johor Bahru, swerved to avoid an SUV that had crashed into the concrete road divider.

In the process, the MPV hit the 68-year-old man who was taking photos of the earlier crash. The man suffered severe head injuries and passed away while receiving treatment.

“As a result, the MPV lost control and hit the elderly man. The victim suffered serious head injuries and was confirmed dead while being treated at Sultanah Aminah Hospital (HSA), while the driver got injuries to his head, face, left hand, and leg.”
