What would you do if you won the lottery and became a multi-millionaire overnight? The same question was directed to some real-life lottery winners in Malaysia and they had a lot to share! Keep on reading to find out about their exciting plans!

*Winners’ names and personal details have been omitted to protect their identities. Images shown are for illustration purposes only.

1. Generate long-lasting wealth

A lucky man won the lottery and was entitled to RM1,000 daily for 20 years! Wondering how he came up with the lucky numbers? All he did was randomly combine his car plate number and IC number!

When interviewed, he said: “My wife and I have agreed to spend some of the money on buying a property, so we can generate some side income by renting it out. And since property prices will keep increasing, so will my winnings!” Now they have their post-retirement income sorted—how lucky is that?!

2. Fund children’s education

In July of this year, a loyal fan of Magnum managed to win big after purchasing his lucky numbers continuously! #Consistency is key!

Overjoyed, the lucky winner did not forget to shower his children with love: “I’ll be using my winnings to open a savings account for my children and set up their education funds. They can now go to the best universities anywhere in the world!”

3. Travel the world

A lady managed to win RM1,000 daily for 100 days after purchasing a lucky pick lottery ticket from Magnum! She mentioned that she picked her ticket directly from the display counter, as the numbers were coincidentally a combination of her family’s favourite numbers.

When asked about her plans, she stated: “I’ll use my winnings to travel to Italy and New Zealand, followed by the rest of the world, as I enjoy learning about different cultures!” What a dream come true! ?

4. Work on a house renovation project for his parents

Can you believe that a man won Magnum Life last year just by purchasing a RM10 lottery ticket? What’s more, the numbers he purchased were inspired by random car plate numbers in his neighbourhood!

“Growing up, I was taught to always honour my parents. Hence, the first thing I’ll do is renovate my ancestor’s house so that my parents can move into a bigger home and live there comfortably,” said the loving son.

5. Leave a legacy for his loved ones

An elderly man won RM1,000 every day for 20 years just by buying a set of lucky numbers from Magnum in 2020. Guess what, his winning numbers were actually inspired by his daughter’s birthday!

The loving father shared: “With this fortune, I will be able to leave some money for my daughter and family so that they are well prepared for any unforeseen financial difficulties in the future.”

6. Fund a super memorable wedding

Imagine having RM1,000 credited to your bank account DAILY for 20 years straight—this is exactly what happened to a lucky winner of  Magnum Life! He was saving up for his wedding when he purchased his lottery ticket. In the end, lady luck picked his side and he won the lottery!

“Winning this lottery is indeed very timely. I can’t wait to use my winnings to fund a huge and super memorable wedding this year. The honeymoon will also be unforgettable. My fiancée will definitely love it!” said the lucky man.
