A 55-year-old woman from Anhui Province, China, faked her pregnancy and stole her own grandson so that her boyfriend would not break up with her.

According to Sin Chew Daily, the woman surnamed, Zeng, had previously been married to another man. However, she now has a new lover who promised to be with her as long as she has children with him. Since then, she had always hoped to become pregnant.

It wasn’t revealed how long she waited, but Zeng became pregnant one day with her boyfriend’s child. But because of her old age and an accidental fall, she had a miscarriage and lost the baby.

Not wanting her boyfriend to change his mind about being with her, she never told him the truth. Instead, she stuffed pillows and clothes under her shirt to make it seem like she was pregnant and sent many “pregnancy photos” to him.

You might be wondering how she was going to hide the fact that she was in fact not pregnant when the time came for the baby to be born, but this woman had it all planned out.

When her “baby’s birth date” approached, Zeng actually kidnapped her grandson to act as her own baby!

Her former husband, Zhang, said that they were all at said grandson’s full moon party when the baby suddenly disappeared together with his ex-wife. Zeng didn’t pick up her phone when he called her, so he suspected that she had taken the baby away. Zhang immediately reported it to the police.

Three days later, the police found the woman and the baby boy in a flat. She admitted that she only did this for her lover. Meanwhile, the police have detained her and brought her in for further questioning.

It’s sad to see how far people will go just so that someone would ‘love’ them.
