The personality of dogs can never be underestimate. From being happy to sad and even straight playful, it’s hard to imagine, sometimes, what really is going on inside their heads.
Such a case seemed to recently take place at a veterinary clinic in Manjung, Perak, when one cheeky golden retriever couldn’t seem to let go of a slipper he managed to get a hold of. In an instance of the clip, which was posted to the clinic’s official TikTok page @wondervetanimalclinic, the dog’s strength to hold onto the slipper seemed to cause a bigger stir among staff members at the clinic.
Gathering around him, a total of 5 staff members made of one veterinarian and other staff members tried their best to free the doggo’s grip from the slipper. Clutching onto it for dear life, the clip ended without any success on their behalf of getting the footwear out of his mouth.
Many Malaysians couldn’t help but laugh at the dog for his cute behaviour, with a few users mentioning how he definitely loved the attention, as his tail was wagging in the video.
“Golden retrievers are like this, they love to chew on shoes, slippers, and honestly anything depending on their mood,” penned one user.
Other users even provided alternatives to the vets in order to try and get the slipper out of his mouth, all from giving him treats to bringing out his favourite toy.
“Let him eat it, let him be happy,” jokingly added one user.
Nevertheless, one of the most fruitful comments of the bunch came from a user who said how clear it was that, despite the animal’s antics, all the vets clearly had love for him by being gentle with their approach.
