1. Perdana Botanical Gardens

This park is a great for nature lovers as it houses plenty of gardens such as a hibiscus garden, an orchid garden, and a couple greenhouses for plants. Surrounded by lush bushes, trees, and flowers, the journey around the huge park is definitely a gorgeous one where cyclist are able to take in the crisp fresh air.
PS: Head on to the ‘docks’ that stretches over the huge lake in the middle of the park and you’ll be greeted with a breathtaking view of the skyscrapers of KL Sentral.

2. The main roads of KL city on car-free Sundays

Syiok right? The roads of centre KL is known for its super busy roads. So, when one finds out that the beautiful streets are closed to vehicles on 1st and 3rd Sundays from 7am to 9am, of course lah you take this chance to use it!
Start off at Dataran DBKL and ride through the main roads of Jalan Sultan Ismail, Jalan Ampang, all the way to Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman while taking in the car-free fresh morning air. Not to worry as you’re able to rent bikes for FREE there if you don’t have one. Plus, there’ll be plenty of people who are participating to keep you company!

3. Dataran Putrajaya
Weren’t sure if you could cycle around Putrajaya, could you! Where else cooler than to take a cruise on your bike in the administrative capital of Malaysia?
Well, this spot is one of our top recommendations because not only is it surrounded by various breathtaking architectures, but it also has several parks and beautiful lakes for your eyes to feast on while riding through. Plus this spot is home to the annual CIMB cycle this 2019 where you can select a 80km or 160km route to challenge yourself! Wah, so syiok!
Note that as there are no bike rental shops here, you’ll have to bring your own!

4. Putrajaya Botanical Gardens

If cycling about the Dataran does not excite you, head to the Putrajaya Botanical Gardens instead where it is lush with different types of plants, trees, and flowers that bloom throughout different times of the year.
Some of the things you want to make sure you don’t miss are, the Canna Walk, Fern Garden, Floral Steps, African Collection, Tropical America Collection, Hibiscus Walk, Bougainvillea Tunnel, Pandanus Walk, Orchid Path, Palm Hill, Vine Garden, and Heliconia Trail. Have fun!

5. Desa ParkCity

Who doesn’t know this popular park? Famed for its scenic greens, lakes, and jogging tracks, this place is no less suitable for cycling. I mean, they have nine-foot-wide pathways! What’s more, the park is very much favoured among pet owners who would often take their doggos on walks in the area – so, feel free to stop and gasp at those cuties while you ride!
