PDRM then deployed officers to the scene at a flat in Kampung Baru Subang, Shah Alam. When the police arrived, a man, who was the tenant, told the officers that there was another man and his 52-year-old girlfriend renting a room at the back of the house.

The officers knocked on the room’s door, and a man opened the door before the police found a woman on the bed, unconscious.

The victim died four hours before the authorities arrived

Two medical personnel from the Sungai Buloh Hospital announced the woman’s death at the scene, confirming that she had passed away four hours before she was found. She was believed to have been strangled by the suspect, reported Kosmo!.

The suspect was arrested and is currently under a 7-day remand, which is expected to last until August 30. The matter is now being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder. PDRM also urged the public not to speculate and advised those with relevant information to reach out to the police to assist with the investigation.
