Three motorcyclists were killed, and another 11 were injured after a major accident involving 15 motorcycles, a lorry, and a car took place at Kilometre 262 of the North-South Expressway (PLUS) at 3 AM on Thursday (July 24).

Seremban Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Mohamad Hatta Che Din, said preliminary investigations found that the group of 15 motorcycles was travelling together from Senawang towards Kuala Lumpur using the middle and right lanes of the expressway.

The accident happened after three motorcycles at the front of the group collided with each other, causing them to fall on the road.

The other riders who were at the back did not manage to avoid them and subsequently crashed into them. Three riders were pronounced dead by the medical personnel at the scene, and the remaining 11, who were injured, were sent to the Tuanku Ja’afar Hospital in Seremban for further treatment. 2 of them are reportedly critical and have been placed in the ICU.

A car and a lorry were also hit on their rear and right side, respectively, by some of the motorcycles, as reported by Sinar Harian.

According to PDRM, the group of college students, aged between 18 and 20, was on their way home after dinner, and they were headed to KL from Senawang.

Isaac passed by the Seremban toll around 3 AM, when he claimed to have seen several riders overtaking his car recklessly. In just under 3 minutes, Isaac encountered the riders again, but not in the manner he had expected.

“I saw two huge lorries and a few cars stopped on the road, so I drove further.”

“The riders, many of them got into an accident. Some of them were dead, while others were screaming in pain,” Isacc told WORLD OF BUZZ.

In a video shared by Isaac, debris from the fallen motorcycles can be seen scattered across the road alongside several bodies.
