A Malaysian man was brutally murdered at a house in Sungai Golok, Thailand, where the assailant fired eight shots at him.
The 33-year-old victim was shot in front of his pregnant wife, who is expected to give birth on 10 December.

The victim, Mohd Fuad Fahmie Ghazali, who hailed from Pasir Mas, Kelantan, was rushed to a hospital in Sungai Golok for treatment, but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. He was pronounced dead at 9 PM last night (1 November), according to his mother, who received the news at 8 PM from her daughter-in-law shortly after the shooting, Sinar Harian reported.
Suspect arrested, motive believed to be debt-related
According to the Narathiwat District Police in Thailand, initial investigations suggest the motive was likely related to debt. The suspect has since been arrested.
Fuad’s 64-year-old mother, Zaiton Abdul Rahman, shared that her son and his wife operated an online business selling second-hand items. She also revealed that her daughter-in-law is due to give birth on 10 December, the same date as Fuad’s birthday.

“We accept what has happened. Fuad’s body will be buried at the Apam Surau Subdistrict Islamic Cemetery after Zohor prayers,” Zaiton told Sinar Harian today (2 November).
