A man in India trying to hide his secret trips to Thailand from his wife found himself in far bigger trouble than he could’ve imagined.
This is after the man, identified as 33-year-old Tushar Pawar, was arrested by Immigration officers at the Mumbai International Airport after they found he had tampered with the official travel document by glueing together 12 pages of his passport.

As reported by the India-based publication Times of India, Pawar claimed that he glued the passport pages because he didn’t want a confrontation with his wife, who was unaware of his previous trips to Thailand.
Pawar, a logistics business operator residing with his family in Satara was travelling on an official trip to Thailand with his client when he was detained at the airport.
The authorities found that he had glued together 12 pages of his passport, namely pages 3 to 10 and 17 to 20, which held records of his trips to Thailand in 2023 and 2024.

Immigration official AS Mittal in his report stated that Pawar failed to provide a satisfactory explanation for glueing the 12 pages together before confessing that he had travelled to Thailand with his friends without the knowledge of his wife.
Pawar is currently being investigated under Section 318 (4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for cheating and the Indian Passport Act.
Meanwhile, a Sahara police officer commented on the case, saying,
“This time, Pawar was travelling on an official trip with his client and his wife was aware. If he had informed his wife about his past trips, he could’ve avoided this situation.
“Instead, his actions at the airport led to complications and his arrest.”
