The Road Transport Department (JPJ) has seized an ‘untouchable’ lorry after the driver was caught committing multiple offences, with the vehicle found to have 31 active summonses during an operation in Kedah.
The incident occurred on Saturday (7 March) at Taman Desa Aman, Kulim, where inspections revealed that the driver did not have a Competent Driving Licence (CDL) for the relevant vehicle class, lacked a Vocational Licence (GDL), and had an expired Motor Vehicle Licence (road tax).

Lorry driver busted for multiple offences, along with 31 active summonses
In a Facebook post, JPJ Negeri Kedah revealed that despite the driver committing multiple offences, the lorry still had valid insurance coverage.
Dubbing the vehicle ‘summons-proof’, the department added that technical inspections uncovered several vehicle compliance issues, and further checks within the JPJ system showed the lorry had 31 active summonses registered under both the company’s and the driver’s names.
“A lorry with 31 active summonses was seized by enforcement officers from the Road Transport Department (JPJ) Kulim Branch during an operation in the Taman Desa Aman area.
“The incident happened at around 9:44 AM, where inspections revealed that the driver had committed several offences,” the post read.

Following the inspection, the lorry was seized and taken to the JPJ Kulim Branch depot for further action and investigation.
“Enforcement operations will continue to be stepped up to ensure everyone follows road laws and to keep all road users safe,” they added.
