A 26-year-old man pretended to be a deliveryman and robbed 4 women at a condominium in Wangsa Maju, Kuala Lumpur. He then raped one of the women.

The suspect took cash before assaulting one of the victims

After entering the unit, the suspect tied the hands of all 4 victims and locked 3 of them in the main bedroom. One of the victims was then brought into another room, where she was raped twice. The suspect also took away her RM200 cash and ATM card before sexually assaulting her.

Kuala Lumpur Police Chief, Datuk Fadil Marsus, said PDRM received a report about the matter yesterday (7 October) at 12:40 PM, before 2 police officers were deployed to the scene. One of them knocked on the door, and the suspect opened the door 5 minutes later. After introducing themselves and going into the house to inspect the premises, the suspect tried to stab the officers with a knife.

The police evaded the attack, and the suspect punched one of the officers in the face and bit his arm during the struggle before he was subdued with the help of the security guard.

The forensic department also did not find any obvious injury on the suspect’s body.

According to the Kuala Lumpur Police Chief, the 26-year-old suspect has 10 criminal records, all related to thefts. Stay tuned as we keep you updated.
