His in-laws demanded a RM69,000 dowry

According to a report by Korps Nusantara, Andi had shared his relationship troubles with his friends where he revealed he was asked to marry his girlfriend, and his future in-laws demanded a dowry of 250 million rupiah (RM69,000).

“He was really frustrated because he only had 40 million rupiah (RM11,000), but his in-laws were asking for a dowry of 250 million rupiah (RM69,000),” the report shared.

Feeling overwhelmed, Andi then went to a spot near Bandara DC Saudale Rote, in Rote Ndao, where there was an asam tree. There, he made the heartbreaking decision to end his life without thinking things through any further.
