Enako, a cosplayer from Japan, recently appeared on the Japanese talk show Nakai no Mado. During the show, she revealed the amount of money she makes which sent everybody’s jaw-dropping.

The young girl confessed that she made an unbelievable 10 million yen (RM400,000) in a mere two days by selling her merchandise at an annual anime convention known as Comiket.

On an average period, Enako makes over 1 million yen (RM40,000) per month from cosplaying alone. Oh and we just wanted to note that this girl is only 22-year old.

That kind of money though…

In the talk show, she further mentions other details on how she makes her moolah.

Apparently her live appearances in front of fans sees her making 300,000 to 400,000 yen (RM12,000 – RM16,000) per gig.

Before you ditch your job and try jump on board the cosplay train, it’s worth noting that cosplaying isn’t as easy as just wearing a costume.

Apparently, it takes multiple hours to create these costumes and props needed. Even so, Enako has already been doing this for 9 years, sooo I think it’s safe to say that we’re a little bit late to jump on this train.
