A Chinese woman was found on the streets of Cambodia, homeless and with fractured legs, days after she was reported missing.
In a circulating image, the 20-year-old woman looks confused and haggard, with bruises across her legs. She was also seen clutching a CT scan image, which appears to indicate a fracture.

A 20-year-old Chinese influencer was found on Cambodian streets after reportedly being duped by her boyfriend
Social media users claimed that she had been lured by her boyfriend with the promise of “easy money,” leading to her current predicament.
The Chinese Embassy in Cambodia confirmed that it has intervened to assist and has admitted her to the hospital for emergency treatment.

The promise of a high-paying job
The post stated that on 26 December 2025, a woman was found abandoned near a hotel in Sihanoukville. According to her passport information, she is a native of Fujian, China.
Some netizens also recognised her as a Douyin celebrity, though it remains unknown how she ended up on the streets despite being promised a lucrative job.

The Chinese Embassy in Cambodia stated that upon learning of the incident, it immediately contacted local police, relevant departments, and concerned individuals to launch a search.
Earlier, another Chinese influencer was reported missing after visiting Cambodia, and it later emerged that she was involved with a human smuggling syndicate.
On 3 January, Ms Wu, a member of the consular staff from the embassy in Sihanoukville, stated that the woman was lured to Cambodia by the promise of a high-paying job.
Her condition has improved, and the embassy has contacted her family to arrange for her to return to China, as reported by Hong Kong media.

On 14 April last year, she posted her second video on Douyin, at which time her account IP address was already tagged in Cambodia, and the background appeared to be a bar. She subsequently posted 10 more videos, with the final one dated 10 December.
