A shocking accident in a residential area in Johor Bahru claimed the lives of two people and left four others injured.

Two people were killed in Johor Bahru in a road accident involving a Nissan GT-R
According to Berita Harian, initial investigations found that the crash occurred after a 29-year-old local man lost control of the Nissan GT-R he was driving.
Sohaimi Ishak said the Nissan GT-R swerved into the opposite lane and crashed into a Kia Picanto driven by a 58-year-old local woman, as well as two Perodua Axias driven by local men aged 30 and 29, before ending up on the right shoulder of the road.
Meanwhile, China Press reported that the Nissan GT-R driver works as a manager at an auto parts centre and is also believed to be a member of a local sports car club.
According to a witness, the accident occurred at a traffic light while drivers were waiting for it to turn green, when suddenly the Nissan GT-R swerved into the opposite lane and crashed into several cars.

The Nissan GT-R driver was pronounced dead at the scene
Sohaimi Ishak added that four other victims suffered minor injuries and were treated at Sultan Ismail Hospital (HSI).
He said the case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
“Following the accident, the Nissan GT-R driver sustained serious head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The 30-year-old Perodua Axia driver also suffered severe head injuries and later passed away while receiving treatment at HSI,” he said.
