PDRM arrests four individuals over the murder of a 31-year-old insurance sales manager
His body was stuffed in a suitcase that was left in a deserted area, with his hands tied. The victim’s car was later found less than 500 metres away from where his body was discovered.
Datuk Azizee Ismail, Penang Police Chief, said that a team of police officers arrested the suspects on Wednesday (22 October) in Butterworth, Penang, and in Kampar, Perak, as revealed in PDRM’s official statement.
Suspects are as young as 24 years old
According to Azizee, the suspects are aged between 24 and 42. They are currently being detained and investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
In another report by Malaysia Gazette, both male suspects are brothers, aged 24 and 38, while both female suspects are 42 and 31 years old.

All suspects will be remanded for seven days until 28 October, and Azizee said more information regarding the arrest will be shared at his soonest.
Daniel’s body was found on 9 October, and before the discovery, his mother said she received a text from Daniel, who told her that he was headed to Perlis for work and might be coming home late the next day.
Daniel’s mother, however, suspected that the text was sent by someone else.

Daniel did not respond to any group chats during his disappearance, and he was expected to bring a new colleague to attend a meeting before he went missing.
