19yo Student in Kajang Falls to Her Death from 33rd Floor After Exiting Toilet via Window Due to Damaged Door

A foreign student from a public university sadly passed away after being found lying in a pool of blood in the corridor of an apartment in Kajang.

Kajang District Police shared in a statement that they received information from the public regarding the incident on December 25 at approximately 6:34 PM.

She slipped while trying to exit the toilet through the window

Kajang District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Naazron Abdul Yusof, shared that initial investigations suggest the 19-year-old victim likely slipped from the 33rd floor while trying to exit through a window because the bathroom door was broken.

The victim’s fall resulted in her landing on the 12th floor of the apartment.

Upon arrival, the PDRM forensic team was at the scene to assist with the investigation, along with the medical team, who confirmed the victim’s death.

The case is classified as a sudden death

The case is being investigated under the Sudden Death Report (SDR). The victim was taken to Serdang Hospital for a post-mortem.

Results from the autopsy conducted on December 26, 2024, at 10:00 AM confirmed the cause of death as “multiple injuries due to a fall from a high place.”

The police are urging anyone with information related to the incident to contact the nearest police station or reach out to ASP Mohd Nasri Bin Tesnoh at 017-7102042 for assistance in the investigation.
