Two Malaysian men went viral after they were caught behaving indecently inside a car in Bahau, Negeri Sembilan. The Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) identified them after receiving two reports about the incident.
In an official statement yesterday (21 November), PDRM said both suspects were arrested on Thursday (20 November) and yesterday.

One of them is a 36-year-old civil servant, while the other is a 19-year-old student
Deputy Commissioner Dato’ Alzafny Bin Ahmand, Negeri Sembilan Police Chief, said that the police also confiscated a Perodua Alza and two mobile phones. The case is being investigated under Section 377D of the Penal Code for the offence of gross indecency in a public place. If convicted, the suspects could face up to two years’ imprisonment.
He added that the police are also investigating under Section 500 of the Penal Code and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 regarding the spread of false news on social media linking the case to the imam of a mosque in the Seremban district.

“For offences under Section 500 of the Penal Code, offenders can be jailed for two years, fined, or both.”
He added, “For Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act, if convicted, a person can be fined up to RM500,000 or imprisoned for up to two years, or both.”
He said the police are conducting a thorough investigation based on existing legal provisions.
