A 17-year-old woman and her mother get free motorcycle driving licenses from JPJ after writing PMX a personal letter

As reported by Harian Metro, Nurul Amani and her mother personally received their B2 licenses from JPJ director-general Datuk Aedy Fadly Ramli at the event.
This is after she had caught the attention of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim by penning a personal letter requesting to be selected for the MyLesen B2 Programme, as her family is underprivileged.
Nurul Amani, who is Asma Aziz’s only child, sent the letter to Anwar during the Prime Minister’s recent visit to Penang.

The 17-year-old shared,
“My family is not well off, my father has passed away, and I live alone with my mother. After obtaining my motorcycle license, I’m free to travel anywhere without fear, as I’m now obeying the law.
“Thank you for lessening our family’s burden. I am thankful to be able to obtain the license alongside my mother,”

Meanwhile, Asma Aziz told Harian Metro that she has been raising Nurul Amina as a single mother since her husband died due to diabetes 6 years ago.
The 51-year-old asserted,
“I raised Nurul Amani through income as a cleaner. We are very thankful and moved as we both obtained our licenses together,”
