Just recently, FS Channel has shared a post about a 16-year-old teen named Ilham.
While most kids/teens have more free time to roam about, Ilham has decided to take the responsibility of helping his mom earn rent money by selling her Pulut Panggang and Nasi Lemak.
He mentioned that his mother would take 4 to 6 hours just to get the fillings for the Pulut Panggang cooked. Once the Pulut Panggang and Nasi Lemak is ready, he would then travel to the Setiawangsa LRT Station and sell the items.
When he was asked as to why he’s doing this, he said:
“I feel bad seeing my mother work so hard just to pay rent while taking care of me.”
The Pulut Panggang that he sells are only for RM1 each and he is grateful that his school teachers would always buy in bulk.
Ilham has been selling Pulut Panggang and Nasi Lemak for 6 years since he was 10 and his operation hours are from Monday to Friday, 4:30pm onwards.
