15yo M’sian Boy Assaulted & Nearly Abducted While Jogging Alone in Shah Alam

A recent incident has gone viral after a teenage boy went through a terrifying experience where he was almost kidnapped in Shah Alam.

In a statement, the Shah Alam police said the 15-year-old made a report on April 28, 2025, at around 10:42 PM about the attempted abduction and assault that happened in Section 13.

He was jogging alone

According to the report, the incident took place earlier that day at around 5:15 PM while the victim was jogging alone in Section 13. He was approached by an old grey car, believed to be a Proton Saga or Iswara, occupied by 2 unidentified men.

One of the suspects exited the vehicle, pointed a knife at the victim, and attempted to force him into the car. The victim resisted and struggled with the suspect before managing to escape and run to a nearby condominium guard post to seek help.

He suffered injuries to his cheek and both arms

The victim sustained injuries, including a cut on his right cheek and wounds on both his right and left arms. He was taken to the hospital for further treatment.

The case is currently being investigated under Section 363/511 of the Penal Code (attempted abduction), which carries a sentence of up to 7 years’ imprisonment and a possible fine.

The investigation also falls under Section 324 of the Penal Code (voluntarily causing hurt with a weapon), which carries a penalty of up to 10 years’ imprisonment, a fine, whipping, or any combination of the three.
