A 15-year-old girl was gang raped after going out with a man she had just recently met.

In an official police statement, PDRM in Perak said they received a report from the victim’s mother on October 21.

“Her 15-year-old daughter did not return home after school at 1:30 PM. It turns out that the victim actually went out to see her boyfriend around Batu Gajah area, before meeting another man that she had just met.”

The man then brought the victim to a hostel, where a total of 5 men were waiting.

“The victim was then offered an empty room for her to rest and sleep. The 5 men then took turns entering the room to rape the victim.”

Dear parents, watch your kids

In the statement, PDRM also urged all legal guardians and parents to keep an eye on their kids’ social circle and be aware of their whereabouts.

“Parents should know who their kids are spending time and mingling around with. This is to avoid unwanted things from happening.”

The police also reminded the parents to always check on their kids’ mobile phones and watch out who they talk to.
