A video recently went viral online, showing two men in a physical dispute. The caption claimed that the man in white had allegedly attempted to kidnap a child.

In the video, a man in a black t-shirt is seen wrapping his arms around the alleged “kidnapper’s” head to prevent him from fleeing. The man in white was later detained by an auxiliary police officer, who instructed the family members to let him handle the situation.

Two police reports were lodged regarding the incident, and PDRM has since confirmed that the case contains no criminal elements, stating it was merely a misunderstanding.

The incident, which occurred on Friday (August 29), involved a 15-year-old boy who mistook the child for his younger brother due to their similar physical appearance and outfit. In reality, the child is the son of the 42-year-old man in black, who believed the teen was attempting to snatch his child at a shopping mall in Genting Highlands.

The police reports were filed at 12:07 am and 12:36 am, respectively.

Bentong District Police Chief, Superintendent Zaiham Mohd Kahar, stated that both parties have given their statements. He urged the public not to speculate about the incident, as reported by Sinar Harian.

The video, which circulated widely online, was captioned to suggest that the teen was apprehended by family members for allegedly attempting to kidnap a child.
