15-Year-Old Girl in Penang Dies After Falling from 16th Floor of Apartment After Argument with BF

A 15-year-old girl in Penang fell to her death from the 16th floor of her apartment.

As per reports by Sin Chew and Astro Awani, the teenager argued with her boyfriend before her death, allegedly because the man did not allow her to check his phone. The victim reportedly self-harmed before falling from the high floor.

The tragic incident took place around 12:45 am today (November 11). PDRM arrived at the scene and has since detained the victim’s 16-year-old boyfriend after questioning him for a bit.

PDRM said the case currently involves no criminal elements, and the police are still investigating it.

The police also said that when the fierce quarrel broke out, the victim’s mother was not at home.

“The victim is the only child, and her parents are divorced. Her mother was out for grocery at the time of incident.”

The victim’s body was sent to Hospital Pulau Pinang for post-mortem, and police have urged the public not to come up with any speculations while they investigate the matter.
