11 men, including teenagers and senior citizens, have been arrested for suspected involvement in deviant activities at a business premise in Bandar Perai Jaya, Perai, Penang, yesterday (29 November).
All individuals were arrested after allegedly using a ‘spa’ that has been operating for the past two months as a spot to indulge in deviant desires.

The operation, which took place around 7 PM, was carried out by a team from the Criminal Investigation Division of the Seberang Perai Tengah District Police Headquarters (IPD SPT) in collaboration with the Licensing Operations Unit of the Seberang Perai City Council (MBSP).
Seberang Perai Tengah District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Helmi Aris, said the raid was conducted on the three-story premises after it was suspected of being involved in unnatural prostitution activities.
11 men including 2 foreigners were arrested
According to him, during the raid, police detained customers of the premises consisting of nine local men and two foreign men, aged between 19 and 66 years old.
Also arrested were two local men, aged 57 and 59, who were the operator and worker of the premises.
“Further investigation revealed that the premises were located in a three-story shop building, operating on the second and third floors.”
“The premises, which have been operating for two months, had a lounge area, sauna room, and partitioned spaces used for deviant sexual activities,” he said.

During the raid, police seized items such as condoms, lubricants, and other equipment related to deviant activities believed to be used for same-sex activities.
“Mobile phones belonging to the suspects, which contained pornographic videos, were also confiscated,” he added.
He explained that urine tests on all suspects came back negative for any illegal substances, while only one suspect had a prior criminal record.
