1. GoKL Bus 

What better way to spend time with your loved one than chilling in an airconditioned bus as you pass through KL’s concrete jungle…

We LOVE the idea of this date plan! Plus it’s really convenient and accessible for you to reach most if not all of KL’s popular landmarks. The best part? You won’t need to spend a dime on bus fares with GoKL busses. Just make sure you don’t travel during office rush hours!

There’s around 11 different bus routes for you to choose from but we suggest the Purple Line as it takes you along Bukit Bintang area.

2. REXKL, Petaling Street

This spot is frequented by all the cool urbanites in the city. REXKL used to be a theater in the past but the old building has since been revived and done-up as a cultural and lifestyle hub for hipsters alike.

The hub has a variety of seating areas, such as bar stools, outdoor benches, and dining tables, to accommodate visitors. So there’s plenty of seats for you to lounge about after you explore Petaling Street!

Continue on exploring to the top floors where you can find a one of a kind bookstore. The headquarters of BookXcess are on the top floor of the exposed-brick structure. The bookstore has gained popularity among locals wishing to browse for books and take pictures because of its maze-like design and towering bookcases storing more than 80,000 books on several floor levels.

3. Kwai Chai Hong

Kwai Chai Hong has grown to be a well-liked location for both amateur and expert photographers. Along with being lined with fashionable cafés, bars and restaurants, the picturesque history alley is also home to frequent pop-up art works and permanent murals that have grown popular with locals.

4. KLCC Lake Show

It’s pretty nice to sit at KLCC park after sunset as the air is more cooling and the city lights are all lit. Enjoy a performance of sound and water, two musical fountains present over 150 unique programmed animations curated by Suria KLCC, a show called the “KLCC Lake Symphony”.

Daily showtimes for the KLCC Lake Symphony Light and Sound Water Fountain start from 7:30pm, 8:30pm, 9pm, and 10pm.

5. Bukit Bintang Crossing

One can only dream what it’s like to experience the original Shibuya crossing in Tokyo, Japan..

But till then, just hop on the train or bus and get to Bukit Bintang to experience KL’s golden triangle in all it’s glory!

7. Hike at Taman Tugu

Located just beside Perdana Botanical Garden is Taman Tugu, home to trees that are over 100 years old!

10. Bank Negara Malaysia Museum and Art Galley 

This museum and art gallery is built in a picturesquely modern building, where every corner has clean and elegant lines. It has six permanent galleries include a wide range of topics, including the Children’s Gallery, the Bank Negara Malaysia Gallery, the Economics Gallery, the Islamic Finance Gallery, the Numismatics Gallery, and the Art Gallery.
