Malaysia’s National Zoo is now offering an adoption program!

Zoo Negara Malaysia has launched an adoption package, called the “Adopt Our Animals” for Malaysians to share their love for the animal by helping to sponsor its welfare. Partnering with Ticket2u, Lazada and Shopee, you can now support the initiative by purchasing donation tickets!

By donating, you can help to retain the animals’ food supplies, enrichment and veterinary care in an annual basis. The prices of the tickets start from RM25 with an e-certificate. The tickets are now available on Ticket2u’s website, as well as on Lazada and Shopee mobile applications.

Previously on 1 April, a netizen shared the saddening condition of the Zoo Negara where the facilities were under maintenance, and the animals were living in a dirty, poor environment. By participating in this “Adopt Our Animals” package, we can help to sponsor the welfare of these animals and ease the financial burden faced by Zoo Negara.

Besides that, there’s some great news for birthday boys and girls too as the National Zoo now offers free tickets when you visit the zoo on your birthday or any time within the next 30 days! However, do note that the package applies to Malaysians only and you need to provide your IC at the counter for verification.
